Day 2
Explore Marrakech
Spend the day in Marrakech exploring the medina, Bahia Palace, the souks and Jemaa el-Fna. Leave time for a hammam or a quiet rooftop in the afternoon.
3
Day 3
Cross the High Atlas to Ait Benhaddou
Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass into southern Morocco. Reach the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Benhaddou and stay overnight nearby for a quiet evening.

Dades Valley and the Sahara Desert
Travel through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley, stopping at viewpoints before heading towards Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes for your desert camp.

Day 5
Sahara morning and on the road
Wake early for sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, continue through the desert region towards the northbound route.

Day 6
Fes, Morocco's historic intellectual capital
Arrive in Fes and settle in. Take your time to adjust after the long drive as you prepare for a full day in the medina.
7

8
Day 8
Roman Volubilis and blue Chefchaouen
Travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then continue to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Explore its blue lanes at an easy pace.
9
Day 9
Return through Rabat or Casablanca
Begin your return journey, stopping in Rabat for a calmer pace with time to see the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower.
