From Casablanca over nine days through royal cities, ancient medinas and a stretch of desert. Long enough for the three settings to breathe, short enough that the trip never becomes a transfer schedule.

- Pace
- Mostly easy drives with a couple of longer stretches north
Overview
The green route: capital, blue city, imperial medina, cedar country and waterfalls, then back to the coast. Nine days is long enough to stop treating the car as the main event.

Day by day
A representative plan. Every trip is adjusted to your dates, your pace and what you want to see.
1
Day 1
Arrival in Casablanca
Land at Mohammed V airport, meet your private driver and settle into a hotel on the Corniche. The ocean front makes a calm first evening.
2
Day 2
Casablanca and on to Rabat
Morning at the Hassan II Mosque, built over the Atlantic, plus the Habous quarter. By mid-afternoon, a short drive brings you to the capital, Rabat.
3
Day 3
Rabat, the capital by the sea
Walk the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower and the Chellah gardens. In the late afternoon you head north toward the Rif Mountains.
4
Day 4
Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl
Lose yourself between blue walls, visit the kasbah square and end the day watching the sunset from the Spanish Mosque.
5
Day 5
Chefchaouen to Fes
A quiet morning in the blue medina before the drive south through the hills to imperial Fes.
6
Day 6
A full day in Fes
The tanneries, grand madrasas and craft quarters of the world's largest car-free medina — a full day to explore at an easy pace.
7
Day 7
The green Middle Atlas
Cedar forests, the alpine town of Ifrane and wild Barbary macaques. Cool air, green hills and a break from the cities.
8
Day 8
Ouzoud waterfalls, then Marrakech
Waterfalls dropping through olive groves, then an evening arrival in the Red City, Marrakech.
9
Day 9
Marrakech and the way home
A final morning of gardens, palaces and souks before the easy drive back to Casablanca for your flight.
